Upon their first visit, patients will receive lifestyle recommendations, dietary recommendations, and an individualized treatment plan. Sessions are typically administered weekly, with the exception of acute or severe symptoms which may require bi-weekly treatments in the beginning phase of care until the symptoms are under control.

During the treatment, many patients fall asleep or get into a relaxed meditative state. I like to call this an “act-high” feeling that can be felt a couple hours post treatment. If deep muscle work or trigger-point needling is done during the session, mild soreness is normal for the next day or so, but lessens with each treatment.

As symptoms improve, less treatments will be needed over time and a patient will go into “tune-up” mode where they are treated once a month to prevent the return of their symptoms.
